L to R: A Need We Feed founder and president Cliff Baker, Chef Lou’s Army Founder, Chef Lou Smith
Per Army founder, Chef Lou Smith, “Safe In the Streets was an absolute success. We had many of our Army partners that have been with us from the beginning of COVID19 come out and support. We had some awesome door prizes, we enjoyed all sorts of great food from Army partners and we all had a wonderful evening for a great cause. I thank everyone involved for their time, their continued support and most importantly their generosity.”
Advised A Need We Feed co-founder and president, Cliff Baker, “Chef Lou and I have a 30-year relationship in the food service industry. We have followed each other over the years but it was the COVID-19 pandemic that brought our relationship to the next level. We were able to connect and find a bond in helping those in need with our foodservice background. It is amazing that something so powerful has come from a pandemic that shut down our industry as we know it.”
