Army Friends and Supporters,
We have some amazing news to share with all of the CLA Family and wanted you to be the first to know – the Army is continuing to grow. NJEDA today announced that it anticipates awarding $14 million in grants to 27 organizations including Chef Lou’s Army.
Our Board was notified this week and we are honored to be one of the recipients chosen to receive a $250K grant from Sustain and Serve NJ, which will be used to purchase meals every week from March 7th to May 31st, 2021. The Army continues to support New Jersey restaurants that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic as we distributed thousands of restaurant-prepared meals to those in need.
Thank you again for your support during Safe in the Streets 2020 and our 1st Annual Golf Outing – Manasquan River Golf Club on April 26th.
The Chef Lou’s Army mission will not stop through 2021, as your support enables us to continue providing those most deserving throughout our Monmouth and Ocean County communities with FREE Chef Prepared ready-to-eat nutritional meals.
